As Black people, we face barriers every day in life and work. We have few opportunities for career growth.
We feel like we don't belong, resulting in us covering our cultural identity—let alone the constant micro-aggressions. Plus the lack of mentorship, support and community are all things we know all too well. These things leave us in a negative mental state, hindering our ability to truly thrive in life and work. But the world is rapidly changing.
New technologies and ways of working create an optimal moment for us to change our futures and achieve our goals by creating our own tables.
At OUR HSE, we believe this is done by designing and building successful businesses, allowing us to be founders and masters of our destinies and to create inclusive spaces and opportunities for people like us to find success, now and in the future.
